Our Hot Rod Hearse
"We are pleased to offer our client families the option of our unique 1931 Hot Rod model A Ford hearse, the only one of it’s kind in Australia!
Our funeral services and Hot Rod hearse travel all throughout Melbourne including some regional areas.
In mid 2018 we sat chatting one night and laughed as we recalled how much we loved the old TV show, the Munsters ...
And so came our vision and dream of building a fantastic and fully functional hot rod hearse. We are so proud of the end result and our client families are loving it too!
After all our hot rod is perfect for Hot Rod enthusiasts, Ford lovers, car enthusiasts in general, or just a family who wants something special and unique in which to farewell their loved one.
Herman as he is affectionately known, started out as a 1930 model A Ford truck chassis, with a 1931 model A Ford Tudor body being stretched and modified and has been built with state of the art components.
As you can see from the pictures the Hot Rod is amazing, and features a new 350 Chevrolet engine, a shiny black gloss duco, all steel bodywork, caramel toned upholstery, Mercedes cloth roof, rear upward opening door and side windows.
As our wonderful engineer said, "I'd go as far as saying Henry Ford himself would be proud to take his last ride in this car"...
Our Regular Hearse
