Maree (Hathalie) Phillips
1940 – 2020
“All I ask of you is to remember me as loving you”
Much loved mother of nine and grandmother of sixteen.
You had enough energy for three lifetimes.
There was always another adventure on the horizon.
A keen gardener, tennis player, artist, singer, dog trainer, cake decorator, scout leader and musician. There was nothing you wouldn’t try at least once.
We Love You
Maree’s funeral service will be held on Friday the 18th of September.

Loved by so many
Forever in our Hearts
Maree was a beautiful, friendly, kind, thoughtful lady, Her gardening skills were amazing. She loved playing tennis we are so pleased to have become friends with her when she joined our tennis group a number of years ago,
God bless her and may she rest in peace.
Very sad to hear of the passing of Auntie Maree. I have fond memories of her on our trips to spend time with our cousins in Park Orchards, including climbing the trees Louise referred to today. It was unfortunate I could not be at the service today but I was glad to be able to have joined it online. Lovely eulogy by you all, I liked your poem Gabi (you represented your father well). Thinking of all Maree’s children and grandchildren at this difficult time. Mark Phillips

Maree was an inspirational member of the gym I go to. She was so friendly, encouraging and positive and had a real zest for getting everything out of life and just keeping on going. Everyone will miss Maree so much. We had lovely chats and the way that Maree was so motivated about everything was an incredible example of living and ageing well.
Thank you for your message Jean and for sharing your lovely memories of Maree.
Take care
Gabrielle
