Oakdale Funerals Journey
David and Anne Allison are the founders and owners of Oakdale Funerals. They are proud and honoured to provide their community with affordable, professional and highly personalised funeral services, provided with the utmost care and respect of both the living and deceased.
Oakdale funerals came about as a definite calling, with Anne and David’s naturally caring personalities and Anne’s previous nursing experience. In addition, Anne is passionate about her role as a Civil Celebrant, having conducted many ceremonies and providing expert skills in creating and delivering unique and meaningful funeral ceremonies. She understands the importance of ceremony in honouring and commemorating the lives of loved ones, and how this can greatly comfort those saying goodbye.
David and Anne have both worked for many years in highly respected positions in the Emergency Services, assisting families in crisis and handling complex legal and traumatic situations.
All of these combined qualities and skills see them working in all areas of their funeral business – right from the initial call to the very end of their service.
They appreciate and understand the expectations of their clients and know that in today’s society funeral needs are changing. People are seeking different options.

Funeral Vehicles
We know that some individuals and families seek choice in the type of funeral vehicle that will transport them or their loved one to the venue on the day of the funeral.
In addition to our two Oakdale hearses, we also provide a wide range of vehicle choices including horse drawn hearses, vintage hearses, a Harley motorbike hearse, limousines or prestige vehicles for family transport.

Our Hot Rod Hearse
We are pleased to offer client families the option of our prestige Model A Ford Hot Rod hearse.
'Herman' as he is affectionately known is the perfect vehicle for hot rod lovers, Ford lovers, car enthusiasts or for a family who just want a truly special hearse in which to farewell their loved one.
