CROWLEY Peter
Peter William Crowley
27/02/1953 - 29/04/2020
Beth, Steve and Michael are devastated to have lost Peter, as are his brothers Des and Neil. His absence leaves a huge gap in our lives.
A limited family celebration service will be held at Wattle Park Chalet at 2.30pm on Friday 8th May, 2020.
The service will be live streamed and all are welcome to join in.
When Steve returns from Canada, we will hold a celebration of his life and all will be invited to attend.
Rest easy Peter - we will always love you.
Such sad news. Mr Crowley was everyone’s favourite teacher; he listened, cared and laughed with us all. We never even guessed we were ‘learning’.
Rest in peace; thinking of Mrs Crowley and family.
Such sad news to hear of Peter’s recent passing. I along with many students at Myrtleford High School in the 80s will remember him fondly. A great, approachable and friendly natured bloke.
I will distinctly remember Peter and his colleague Mr Grech for their support and framing of a certain letter to the then principal in protest of having to wear a tie as part of school uniform.
You were a legend Mr Crowley. Rest easy.
Saddened to hear of the loss of such a fabulous human being. I knew you as a teacher mostly, and you had such a positive impact on myself and so many others during your years in the Ovens Valley. Thank you for your genuine smile and positivity, you will be remembered fondly. Condolences to your lovely family at this time.
It’s with great sadness that I learned of Peter’s passing today. He was a well-respected colleague and a highly regarded teacher at Pascoe Vale Girls College for many years. He loved his students and made a valuable contribution to education; a gentle man and a gentleman.
My deepest sympathy to Beth, Steve and Michael for your great loss.
I was shocked and much saddened to hear of Peter’s passing. We worked together at Pascoe Vale Girls College, sharing an office during his time there. I knew him as a gentle person, witty and caring. It is hard to believe that his life has ended so abruptly. My deepest sympathy to the family for such a great loss.
